Dreams – Telephone Series
variable, about 6 X 8 3/4 X 5 1/2 inches (15.24 X 22.23 X 13.97 cm)
Cardiff & Miller
|This series works with the intimacy of the telephone. Upon lifting a receiver from a collection of freestanding vintage telephones, the viewer hears Cardiff’s voice recounting a dream. These works continue Cardiff and Miller’s interest in the telephone as a mechanism for story-telling while furthering their exploration of the narrative potential of dreams.
