“Canadian artists Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller have been awarded the Wilhelm Lehmbruck Prize in honor of their life’s work, “which has opened up new perspectives for sculpture in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries,” the Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg, Germany, announced on Thursday. Administered by the museum, the City of Duisburg, and the Rhineland Regional Council, the prize comes with 10,000 euros and an exhibition featuring the artists’ works, which will open in November 2021.” – Art Forum
